The first steps in management are some of the most critical to take in the career of all people managers. The functional specialist has to take on the mantle of supervising people requiring a wide range of new skills and techniques.

First Line Mangers,Team Leaders and Department Heads recently appointed to the role. Supervision of staff would be desirable but not essential. Additionally, individuals would be suitable who have no experience of managing people but may be doing so in the future.
