Metice Consultants carried out a detailed training Needs Analysis working with NLNG in Bonny Island Nigeria, in order to clearly identify the learning and development needs of new and inexperienced First Line Managers
The Programme will be certificated by the Institute for Leadership and Management (ILM), continuing a long and successful partnership between Metice and the ILM and extending this partnership[p into international arenas.
Supervisory Skills Development
The overall Supervisory Skills Development Scheme programme objective is to equip emerging and existing supervisors with the knowledge, skills and behaviour necessary for self and team management for excellent individual, team and organizational performance.
1. Developing the environment for success
The delegates will be able to create a motivational workplace, recognising, understanding and utilising the differing values and behaviours of others to encourage can do attitudes. Confidence in decision making will be developed, promoting problem analysis and ownership and considered risk analysis.
2. Developing performance for success
The delegates will be able to adapt their leadership styles to effectively meet the needs of their team and the organization. Delegation skills will be developed alongside the understanding of techniques in building highly effective and productive teams.
3. Developing communication and influence for success
The delegates will be able to communicate effectively at all levels, constantly considering the correct method and style to be utilised. Their listening skills will become finely tuned and they will develop successful influencing techniques, building on their own strategic network of stakeholders.
4. Developing the changes for success
The delegates will be able to create and lead successful change within the workplace, assisting others within the team in offering support encouragement and guidance. In addition the delegates will be able to stimulate continuous improvement across the team by utilizing the successful feedback techniques.
