Learning and Development Philosophy
The consultants will utilise an assortment of learning methods and interventions in order to gain maximum levels of retention, learning and development of all programme participants. The correct balance will be achieved between Trainer and Learner led activities, with input not being too heavy whilst at the same time the input will be meaningful and transferrable for the participants.
Embedding diversity will be a common approach followed by each consultant, ownership needs to rest across all business functions as diversity and inclusion now resonates with employees, customers, and suppliers. As a progressive organisation we recognise diversity as a key element of business strategy which operates at the heart of business operations.
It is the intention that all programmes should consist of a balance between theory and practical, mixed with both individual learning and group activity.
The general culture should be a light one mixed with a serious approach to raising levels of awareness and understanding of some key areas.
Programme style will be highly participative and interactive. Group or individual exercises will be utilised. Individual developmental activity will support each input session.
Each participant will be encouraged to create an individual Development Reflection; this will enhance the transferability of the key messages at the same time as creating a realistic action plan for each participant.
Programmes will follow an experiential approach, ensuring maximum involvement leading to participants learning by doing and will focus on practical, commercial business related options and actions.
The evaluation process will be developed to suit the client’s requirements. All results will be relayed to the client in narrative format.
The overall aims of the programmes are to enhance the confidence and abilities of the target population, enabling them to contribute significantly to the effectiveness of the team and the organisation.
