Corporate Social Responsibility

It is the intention that part of Metice Development Solutions Ltd corporate responsibility is to give back to its local community.

“Metice have been very pro-active in helping a number of staff find employment with personal coaching and grooming, interview skills and techniques. They have sponsored an inner City Squash coaching initiative, taking Mini Squash into several Primary Schools”

Mike Brown,
General Manager Heaton Tennis & Squash Club June 2007

Metice offered assistance with the coaching of Head Teachers supporting Business in the Community Projects.

”I gained so much from the coaching and support with Metice. They provided me with a whole new perspective on the role of the Head Teachers”.

Head Teacher Middle School

“The aid and guidance I received from Don at Metice provided me with a
greater confidence in my own abilities displayed on my CV, as well as new skills when talking to potential employers”.

Ben Green,
Business Studies Student

“I would like to send a big thank you to Don for all his help in preparing me for my very daunting, first physiotherapy interview! The coaching I received really helped me to recognise my abilities, and consequently increased my confidence, an area which I feel was a huge barrier to overcome.

I know of others like myself who recommended Don, all of whom gained employment following their first interview!

I feel this was an extremely valuable learning experience and helped to facilitate my employment into what is now my first physiotherapy post.”

Miss Lindsay Clare

Liam Crawford spends a week each year with parishioners from Middlesbrough Diocese helping the sick and handicapped on pilgrimage to Lourdes.

The people he meets and experiences help him recover a sense of direction and worth, understanding the value and rewards of helping others less fortunate than him self to achieve personal goals, large or small.

He retains this learning when meeting people from the corporate world in order to generate the same sense of passion and trust in the work place as he experiences in Lourdes.

He is also involved in supporting other events in the local Parish such as processions and Church events associated with fund raising for the poor and destitute.

“Liam’s passion and enthusiasm to help others is very much appreciated. He is very well respected within the dieses of Middlesbrough and is always there to help”.
