Herbalife’s employee training programmes have proved to be in a league of their own after being awarded a UK National Training Award 2005 for exceptional achievement in training and development.

The National Training Awards are widely regarded as the most prestigious awards for effective training in the UK and are only given to organisations and individuals who have achieved lasting excellence and success through training. They recognise those who have committed to improving business success through learning new skills.

The Uxbridge company sells weight management, nutritional supplements and personal care products via a network of independent distributors worldwide. Uxbridge is the home to its European headquarters where staff play a vital role in the livelihood of the hundreds and thousands of independent distributors throughout Europe.

The company prides itself on its commitment to providing structured and innovative training programmes to all of its 200 staff based in Uxbridge and Slough. These programmes are so successful they are now being rolled out to its staff in other offices throughout Europe.

Metice has worked alongside the Herbalife training team for the last 6 years, developing and delivering a whole range of Management and Leadership training programmes. Metice has supported Herbalife throughout the UK and in Spain, Italy, Holland, U. S. A. and Russia. The key emphases for the Herbalife programmes were the three strands of design, delivery and evaluation. Bespoke training programmes with high degrees of transferability within the key messages, which are evaluated in order to measure success.

The company was able to prove design and delivery through Core Operational Training Programmes and bespoke Leadership and Management Development Programmes. This alongside the evaluation process and initiatives to ensured that the organisation had satisfied, dedicated, committed and competent employees, all contributing to the success of the business.
